The Load Calculation Is the Whole Job
Nearly every chronic commercial HVAC complaint traces back to a decision made before anything was installed: the equipment was selected by rule of thumb, or matched to whatever was there before, instead of being sized from a calculated load.
Oversized equipment is the more common and more insidious error. A unit with too much capacity satisfies the thermostat quickly and shuts off — which sounds efficient and is the opposite. Short run cycles never give the coil time to remove humidity, so the space ends up cold and clammy, the compressor is cycled to death, and the owner concludes the equipment is junk. Undersizing is more obvious: the machine simply cannot keep up on a design day, which in Texas means it fails you precisely when it matters.
So we start from the building. Commercial cooling load calculation — ACCA Manual N / ASHRAE methodology, not the residential shortcut — accounting for envelope, orientation, glazing, internal gains from people and equipment, ventilation requirements under ASHRAE Standard 62.1, and actual local design conditions.

Equipment Selection
Selection against AHRI-certified performance data so capacity and efficiency can be compared on published ratings instead of a brochure claim. Refrigerant availability and long-term serviceability are part of the decision.
Permitting & Coordination
Permits, inspections, roof and structural coordination, crane logistics, and scheduling around building occupancy and business hours.
Installation
Mechanical, electrical, refrigerant piping, condensate, and controls — installed to manufacturer specification and code, with a clean evacuation and a charge that is weighed rather than guessed.
Startup & Commissioning
Functional testing of every control sequence and safety, plus air and hydronic balancing so the system delivers design flow where the design says it should.
Documentation & Handoff
As-built documentation, measured startup readings, warranty registration, and an operator walkthrough — so the facility team inherits a system they can actually run.
