Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration for the Facilities That Can't Run Warm

Rooftop units. Chillers. Walk-ins. Rack systems. Controls. Across Texas.

Two Disciplines, One Contractor

Commercial & Industrial Only. No Residential Line.

Mechanical and refrigeration are usually two phone calls. A restaurant group calls one contractor for the rooftop units and another for the walk-in. A grocery or distribution site splits the building's comfort systems from the systems that protect product. Buffalo Mechanical & Refrigeration covers both — packaged rooftop units, split systems, chillers, VRF, and make-up air on the HVAC side; walk-in coolers and freezers, display cases, ice machines, and parallel rack systems on the refrigeration side — plus the controls and building automation that decide how any of it actually runs.

The two disciplines share a physics problem — moving heat with a refrigerant circuit — and they fail for overlapping reasons: fouled coils, low charge, a bad contactor, a control sequence nobody has looked at since commissioning. One contractor who sees both sides of the building sees the pattern.

Cold Is Not a Comfort Item. It's Inventory.

When a walk-in drifts, the repair is rarely the expensive part — the product is. The FDA Food Code requires cold potentially-hazardous food to be held at 41°F or below, so a box that climbs past that line puts inventory on a clock whether or not the equipment eventually recovers. Add lost sales while a case is dark and the regulatory exposure, and a single failed compressor routinely costs several times the service call that would have prevented it.

Comfort systems carry the same asymmetry in a different currency. A rooftop unit running on a dirty coil burns more energy every day it is neglected, and the failure it is building toward will happen on the hottest afternoon of the year — not on a Tuesday morning when a technician is already scheduled. Preventive maintenance does not eliminate failures. It moves them onto your calendar instead of the equipment's.

Service, maintenance, installation, and controls — under one contractor.

HVAC + Refrigeration in One Contractor

Rooftop units, chillers, and VRF alongside walk-ins, cases, and rack systems — one vendor for the whole mechanical envelope.

Preventive Maintenance Programs

Scheduled coil, filter, belt, drain, electrical, and refrigerant-charge service with documented visits — planned instead of reactive.

Controls & Building Automation

Sensors, controllers, schedules, and BAS integration, so equipment runs the sequence it was actually designed to run.

Emergency Repair

A dark case or a dead rooftop unit escalates by the hour. Dispatch comes from the Texas branch nearest your facility.
